Principle Of Ultraviolet Sterilization Technology

The required irradiation time to inactivate microorganisms under 30,000μW/cm² Dose of UV 254nm

DEEP ULTRAVIOLET STERILIZATION PRINCIPLE

  • Deep ULTRAVIOLET radiation can destroy the DNA or RNA molecular structure in microbial body cells, resulting in the death of growthline cells and the death of regenerative cells, thus achieving the sterilization effect. Under a certain dose, the deep ultraviolet ray kills most bacteria and viruses within 1 second.

The sterilization rate of UVC is related to target microorganism and irradiation dose

  • – Kill general bacterial propagules:the dose should be up to 10000 μw.s/cm²

  • – Kills bacterial spores: up to 100000 μw.s/cm²

  • – Kills viruses: Somewhere between a bacterial propagator and a bud

  • – Kills fungal spores: higher than bacterial spores, sometimes 600 000 μw.s/cm² (pathogenic fungi are generally less resistant to unltraviolet light than bacterial spores)

  • – Kills unknown target microorganisms: not less than 100 000 μw.s/cm²

IRRADIATION FOR 15 MINUTES, THE TEST IS CLOSE TO 100MJ/CM²
  • Above 22mJ/cm² will inhibit coronavirus
  • Violet irradiation dose unit mJ/cm²
  • Contrasting colors 25, 50, 100 mJ/cm²

At fixed doses, most The killing time of bacteria and viruses is within 1 second.
